Kerr's Lake

Camping overnight on the nicest night in weeks. After a day of driving, hiking, and sunshine, evening sets in with camp fire, veggie dogs, roasted peppers, wine, and a good friend. Sleeping in a tiny tent to the sounds of fish jumping in the lake, 2 species of owl, grouse beating air sacs and hollow logs, coyotes, and intermittent light rainfall punctuated by the brightness of the moon, jupiter, and the stars coming through... What better way to end the summer?
