day. It was 30 above and folks began arriving early to help set up,
to swim, to drink beer, and make merry.
And so it begins:
The fest even gained a little Montreal!
Scabsmoker: check the party shorts!
These dudes were rad enough to drive out 3/5 of Grimhorse
and loan their gear like there was no tomorrow.
Thanks again, fellas! It was a real blasssst.
Caniform: As the sunset loomed, things got crazy
Karl's refusal to wear pants took it to the next level
End Times: A crushing performance
Somehow Russ became a ghost illuminated in blue mystery
Many thanks to Sarah F, the woman who made
Foul Copse Fest a reality.
Mystical Interlude:
Believe it or not, this is the moon and evening
star in sky and reflected off water:
Again, hard to believe, I know. Call it magickkzz

what they wanted (Tu Sufres had to cancel):
Deaden: Brothers in arms
Technical difficulties and inebriation aside,
this was one of my favourite performances by
one of my new favourite local bands.
Goth Scott Turner:
Noose: Dopestar Killahs and harbingers of mayhem
Unfortunately, I was unable to take photos of
Violent Gorge or Archagathus. Just trust in the wildness they created.
Wolbachia: Flippin' lids since forever anyone cares to remember.
These ragers obliterated the silence of the night as always.
Scarah Massacre went hog wild with a baseball bat.
Endless partying and/or futile attempts at sleep ensued.
The Aftermath: the sun couldn't bring itself to rise
Grim hands collapsing the green blob:
