Just so you know, I am not fooled by your modest attempts at reduction... I am not numb, I cannot sleep soundly, and addled dreams will not shake me. Nothing real could ever disintegrate so quickly as those phantoms sent by alkaloids and exhaustion. I know that my best interests are not in your mind and my faith is not in you...but please, I just want to be able to sleep without pain. Move without pain. Lift my arm...
